Meet the lovely Melbourne couple Simona and David, it was a pleasure for us to capture wedding photography for them.
Married at the St Andrews Orthodox Church in Burwood East Melbourne, the couple planned their wedding celebration in Thailand next year. So it was important for us to capture lots of wedding moments in Melbourne.
On the day, our Melbourne wedding photographer started with the getting ready wedding photography at the bride’s house. After the accessory’s photos for the bride’s jewelleries and dress, we gather the bride and bridesmaid for champagne shots. We captured plenty of laughter and fun in the wedding photography.
After the bride jumped in her dress, our wedding photographer then bring her to the spot next to the window. The lighting created a nice contrast for wedding photography. After the bridal portraitures, we then gathered the bridesmaid and the family members for group photos.
When we arrived at the St Andrew’s Orthodox Church, our groom David was already well prepared nice and sharp. After some catchups, our wedding photographer quickly did some photos for David.
The Orthodox Churches are well-known for their beautiful arch top, it’s also important our wedding photographer to capture lots of detailed photos of the church.
The wedding ceremony lasted for almost an hour as the couple opted for a traditional full mass orthodox ceremony. During the formalities, our wedding photographer was able to capture lots of emotions and precious moments.
After the wedding ceremony, we then headed to the Blackburn Lake Sanctuary for family photos as well as location photos. Featuring lush green forests, lakes as well as bridges, the Blackburn lake Sanctuary provide stunning backdrop for wedding photography.
After all the family photos and photos with the bridal party, we then headed to the lake for wedding photography of the bride and groom. The lake and rocks provided stunning background for photos. Lastly, we went to the bridge inside the Burwood Lake Sanctuary for some wedding portraitures.
