Danielle and Filipe’s wedding photography is giving us all the heart eyes. Being one of many couples whose wedding has been postponed several time due to the Covid-19. But here we are today, we were so happy that the restriction for weddings were lifted.
The couple planned to had their wedding ceremony as well as the location photography done first, and their wedding reception is planned on next year.
On the day, we started with the getting ready wedding photography and we were thrilled to see how the couple has decorated their room so nicely. During the getting ready, we let the couple to naturally engage with each other and captured lots of candid moments.
The couple tied their knot at the St Mary Church in Altona. Due to the current Covid restriction on wedding, they had to stay outdoor during the wedding ceremony. When we walked in the church, I instantly noticed the little garden behind the church which provides a nice background for wedding ceremony photography. And the arch also provides a nice balance to the wedding photos.
Although it was still a small wedding ceremony with 10 people attended, I focused on capturing the couple’s emotions, laughers and tears as well as lots of candid moments. And right after the couple tied the knot, I picked a corner in the garden with nice greenery background for some family photos.
After the couple tied the knot, we then bring them to the beach located near for some beach wedding photography. With the stunning coastline, the jetty as well as nice weather, we archived lots of beautiful wedding photos.
To capture plenty of candid wedding photography, I didn’t give too many unnecessary directions on couple’s posing. Instead, I guide the couple to do some walking as well as engage with each other.
Thank you Danielle and Filipe for having us and we will see you at the Luxor Function Centre next year!
