Lara & Shaun @ Mont Du Soleil Wedding Video
Lara and Shaun is a fun, genuine and unique couple in our eyes. As the wedding cinematographer, we captured weddings in Melbourne and the surround country area. The wedding of Lara and Shaun is really a unique one to always pops out in my memory.
The wedding day of Lara and Shaun started with their preparation. Our wedding cinematographer head to Shaun parent’s house to film his getting ready part. All the groomsmen and Lara and Shuan’s little son were there as well. To truly reflect the their spirit and personalities, we only throw some rough guide about finding a tidy background and better natural lighting. Lara and her bridal squad stay at the Bridal Suite of Mont Du Soleil for getting ready. These girls are all natural wild spirit, so we barely stand out to interrupt them. The chemistry is already there, the old cheesing posing from the traditional wedding videography definitely won’t fit here.
Lara and Shaun’s wedding ceremony was at the backyard of Mont Du Soleil. The breathtaking view of Dandenong Ranges‘ rolling hills and vines nearby are perfect backdrop to tie the knot. Before Lara arrived with her dads, our wedding cinematographer have attached the lapel microphone to Shaun’s suit. We have also connect another portable sound recorder to celebrant’s speakers. For Lara and Shaun’s wedding video, we could ensure the audio part of their speeches could perfectly synchronise with the moments we captured in our cameras.
After the wedding ceremony, we packed up most of our gears and move them to the reception place. “Less is more” is a perfect guideline for location shooting in a modern wedding cinematography. Handhold the camera, put it on a gimbal or stabiliser are our methods to capture the natural and candid wedding cinematography.
The party of Lara and Shaun’s reception started around 6pm. Guests are indoors and outdoors. It has the unique and relaxed vibe here to get Lara, Shaun, all the guest and crews like us all involved. You can tell this is a wedding to let everyone have fun and enjoyed.
