Lara & Shaun’s Wedding Photography @ Mont Du Soleil
Dandenong Ranges is one of best places to organise a relaxed and forest style wedding. Among all our wedding photography experience in Dandenong Ranges, Lara and Shaun’s wedding is the one pops out. They are a truly easygoing couple and keep everything of the wedding true to themselves. That is why we loved this wedding so much. Sometimes, it could be easy to get lost of what a wedding day should be, especially when Instagram, Pinterest and wedding blogs filling up all your wedding planning process. Wedding, in Lara and Shaun’s eyes, is the loved shared, and they get the family and friends around them. Nothing else.
The wedding started with Shaun’s preparation at his parents house in Berwick. Lara and Shaun’s little son stay together with the groom’s squad. We were really having fun to photograph the little cutie. Lara chose to get ready at the Bridal Suite at Mont Du Soleil. The greenery outdoor, the vintage setting up indoors delivered a perfect environment to create fantastic Boho wedding photography. We absolutely love to capture the Lara mum’s patience and Lara dad’s emotions. These authentic wedding photography work are beyond our expectations.
The wedding ceremony was held at the deck area of Mont Du Soleil. All the bridesmaid and Lara went through the beautiful lounge to show in front of the guests. The space here is a bit small, but it help our wedding photographer to deliver the cozy and home-like feelings in our photography work. Plus we have the rolling Dandenong Ranges and the break-taking vines as the backdrop to enchant this beautiful moments.
After the wedding ceremony, we capture the group photo and family photos at the backyard, as we found out the shade by the castle could make the photography work a bit better. When it comes to the wedding portrait time, it is about 4pm in November, the lighting is still a bit too harsh for perfect photography work. So our wedding photographer decide to stay in the castle to capture some intimacy photos firstly and then heading outside 40 minutes later to shoot under a more smooth lighting conditions.
The reception intro was held around 6pm. Lara and Shaun created a relaxed party vibe for all their guests. It was just perfect in every way. And as a wedding photographer, we absolutely love to create the photography work under such an atmosphere. We did a quick sneak out shoot with Lara and Shaun in the vineyard, and returned them back until everyone found them left. There are heaps of fun came from the speech from their family and friends and all the guests and couple absolutely loved it. You can see it from the tears and smiles on their face. We stay with Lara and Shaun for the whole night to ensure all the important moments like the cake cutting, first dancing, garter game and farewell got covered.
