Elise & Nick @ Luminare Wedding Video
If you ever are looking for a rooftop wedding venue with an exceptional Melbourne city view, then just say “I do” in Luminaire. When it comes to Elise and Nick, they chose to have their wedding at the Luminare almost without a hesitation. Its got a minimal and chic vibe together with great food and magnificent views. The couple found us on Instagram, where we always post some wedding highlights and behind the scenes. The love birds soon got interested in our videography services. As they are looking for a more uplifting and cinematic final video, this is what exactly we excel at.
On their wedding day, our videography team started by shooting the couple’s getting ready. After shooting some candid moments such as the groom and bride’s interaction with friends and family. Our videographer gave the couple some coaching on the posing so we can add some cinematic footage into the final production.
After the preparation, we then headed to the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Located in Middle park, the church is very close to both the Luminare as well as the port Philip bay where they can have some location shoots. The Mt Carmel Church is also a great place to say I do for those with Catholic religions. During the ceremony, multiple cameras and microphone were set up by our videographers to ensure the full coverage of the Father’s reading as well as the couple’s heartfelt vows.
After the ceremony, we then headed to the Pier Port Melbourne for something that is more fun: the location shoots. During the shot, while giving some posing instruction to the couples, our videographers and the bridal party had plenty of fun. We capture lots of candid moments and interactions as well.
We then headed to the reception, Luminare. Some may ask why only one location for this wedding, that’s because we’ve got the rooftop as the second! With the backdrop of the city skyline during sunset, we captured lots of beautiful moments. During the night, after the new wed’s first introduction and cake cutting, it was then followed by the guests speaking. As mentioned by Elise, she would like to capture the speeches in full length and in great quality. So we set up a direct microphone input in the dj desk as well as a main mic to ensure the sound is crystal clear.
