When we met Stephanie and Luke on a wedding expo in Melbourne, they were discussing with us about mix the wedding with their Italian traditions and the contemporary vibe. They prefer to create a romantic and epic wedding. We feel so lucky to be part of Stephanie and Luke’s wedding as the wedding photographer.
The wedding day started with the Stephanie and Luke preparation at their parents place respectively. To avoid them getting up too early, we organised photographers come to cover their getting ready session respectively for them on the wedding day. We could focus more on wedding photography rather than let the tight timeline push us. Luke embrace his traditions with hair cutting and beard shaving in the morning.
Stephanie and Luke’s wedding ceremony was held at St Brigid Catholic Church on Nicholson Street in Fitzroy North. The neat and tidy interior setup could help the wedding photography here in the same way. One of our wedding photographer came to the internal balcony to provide some wedding photos from a unique overlook angle.
After the wedding ceremony, we organise the group photo and family photos for Stephanie and Luke. The family photo session is always critical in traditional Italian cultures. Our wedding photographer brought the couple to Carlton Gardens and Australian Centre for Contemporary Art for location wedding photography. At Carlton Garden, the tree line pathway, the fountains, the historical Royal Exhibation Centre and the modern Melbourne Museum provides the perfect scene and variability for wedding photography. At Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, it provides a quiet environment to capture the Stephanie and Luke’s intimacy photos.
The Wedding Reception was held at Luminare, South Melbourne, where represents the rooftop wedding receptions in Melbourne. Every time we capture weddings here, we would always suggest the couple spend 20-30 minutes to take the sunset photos unless the weather not allowed. From a wedding photographer’s perspective, Luminare is one of the best sunset wedding photos. The city skyline and the Port Phillip Bay View are all both the stunning backdrop for the photography. The reception kept going for all the formalities such as the cake cutting, speeches and first dancing. Our wedding photographer stay there until the farewell to make sure we have all the important moments covered.
Thank you, Stephanie and Luke, for asking Tree Studio to take care of your wedding photography. May you two have a lift time of love and happiness.
