Dejana and Matt’s wedding photography showcases their sweet, intimate wedding at the Royal Botanic Gardens. Located on the edge of Melbourne CBD, the Royal Botanic Gardens provide the perfect backdrop for natural and candid wedding photography.

The couple set up their wedding ceremony on the lawn near the Rose Pavilion, with lush green bushes and colourful flowers, their ceremony wedding photography was blessed with a vivid background. Whatsmore, the Rose Pavilion also provided the perfect shelter for their later wedding reception.

Witnessed by their closest friends and families, our Melbourne wedding photographer captured lots of emotional moments during the ceremony. The 2020 has certainly been a tough year for bride and groom across the world, but it all came along when the Dejana and Matt finally tied the knot as husband and wife.

After the wedding ceremony, our Melbourne wedding quickly gathered all the guests and families for group shots. And when those were finished, it will then be time for just the newlyweds. In fact, we love doing wedding photography inside the Royal Botanic Gardens as it provides such a versatile background for natural photos.

For Dejana and Matt’s wedding location photos, our wedding photographer started with the greenery wall outside the Gardens Houses. The colourful backdrop can add a touch of contrast and depth onto the couple’s wedding photography.

There are several lakes inside the Royal Boantic Gardens which make them perfect for doing wedding photography. By guiding the couple to do some candid wandering near the lake while chatting to each other, our wedding photographer was able to capture natural walking shots of the couple.
