2020 has been a special year for us, the covid-19 has since affected lots of wedding couples all over Australia. From maximum 100 people to only 5 people who can attend the wedding, getting married has absolutely become harder. Just like Brittany and Mario. From the moment they are knowing their wedding will miss the reception due to the gathering rules, this couple has gone through a lot of struggling. But nothing can stop a loving couple from getting married. Instead of a typical wedding, they chose to have a small, intimate wedding ceremony on the original date, and push the party later this year. We started with our bride Brit in the morning to capture her getting ready. And I started with using a more candid approach with our bride as I can definitely feel a little bit pre-wedding nerves going on! after she got dressed up and we found out that we are still ON TIME! Then I bring our bride out on the lawn for some portraits.
The couple chose to get married at the Melbourne Assembly Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, a Christian Church at Melton. Although they had limited guests, but we had plenty of laughter and I captured lots of heartfelt moments for our bride and groom.
After they were officially married, we then bring the couple out for some location photos. As the couple have to travel back to NSW by that night and worrying the government will shut down the border very soon, we decided to do location photos at the little park right beside the church. The one-hour shoot was short but I managed to capture plenty of the candid and loving moments.
Thank you Brittany and Mario for having me as part of your memorable big day and we will join together for the final big party later this year at the Park reception.
