Meeting a couple like Mollie and James could make us feeling so humbling and rewarding to choose filming the weddings in Melbourne as the career. Their love to each other, the energetic personalities and the sense of humour make their wedding a real pleasure for us to capture.
The wedding day started with Mollie and James’ preparation at their parents house respectively. Capturing the getting ready part of Mollie and James’s wedding at where they grown up could truly reflect their personalities. You could see they are feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole morning. This really helped our wedding cinematographer to capture their natural and candid wedding video.
The wedding ceremony was held in the Montsalvat, Eltham. The classic upper-level indoor gallery provide the historical castle feeling and perfect natural lighting for Mollie and James to tie the knot here. Our wedding cinematography team set up multi-cameras to ensure we capture every detail of the wedding ceremony, like the first kiss, the vow and ring exchange and the emotional moment from their family and friends. Our wedding cinematographers also set up the Zoom H1 and H5 portable sound recorder for Mollie and James’ ceremony to ensure we record a clear speech from Mollie, James and their wedding celebrant.
After the wedding ceremony, our wedding cinematographer spend a bit time to pack up the gear. For the location shooting, we prefer to bring some portable gears like a DJI gimbal or Glidecam HD2000 stabiliser. It is important to focus on the Mollie and James rather than spending too much time to setup the gear, like changing the lense or set the tripod. As the later event was still in the Montsalvat, our cinematographers have a quite flexible time to arrange the location shooting. We filmed some natural moments out doors under the creamy lighting, some casual moments for Mollie and James stay in their wedding car, some intimacy and dramatic moments at the attic. You could see the uniqueness of Mollie and James from these wedding clips we captured.
The wedding reception was held at the dining room in Montsalvat. It is one of a kind castle wedding celebration place in Melbourne. Our cinematographer stay until late to cover the formalities, like cake cutting, speeches, first dancing, father daughter dancing and the farewell. So when Mollie and James recollect their wedding day memory, the whole of the day would unfold.
