Many people dream to have their wedding out in the countryside, far away from the concrete jungle. So do Angela and Haydn, that’s why they chose to have their wedding venue at Silverwater Resort at Phillip Island, Melbourne. What a beautiful venue it was to host this beautiful couple’s special day. Being together for almost 4 years, the lovely couple were looking for videographer with a creative mind to produce a one of a kind film for them. Recommended by friend’s of Haydn, we soon had a few pre-wedding meeting with the couple to discuss their preferences. Interestingly, the groom revealed that he would like to have an underwater-shoot of him swimming with his mates on the wedding day, as well as a drone shot of the famous Trenavin Chapel.
On the wedding day, our videographer started by shooting the bride and groom’s preparation. We aimed to make the shooting a more easygoing and relaxing process, both the bridal party and us had lots of fun. For the underwater shot of the groom, we have brought ourselves the swimming pants as well as the underwater-camera. During the shoot, we had quite a few of Ngs but the groomsmen had heaps of fun and laughter. We are sure when the bride see the final video she would be amazed as well.
After the preparation, we then headed to the Trenavin Chapel for the lovely couple’s wedding ceremony. The ceremony was warm and intimate. After the heartfelt vows and exchange of rings, our bride and groom were announced as first time husband and wife. During the ceremony, our videographer set up two cameras to shoot both the wide angle as well as the close up impressions of the guests.
After the wedding ceremony, we then headed out for some location photos. As Angela mentioned before that she would like to have the beach as the backdrop, we then took her to the Philip island beach. We took plenty shots there including walking shots as well as interactions between the newly weds.
The Reception at Silverwater resort was one of a kind. Warmly welcomed by the guests, the new weds made their first introduction as husband and wife. They then proceeded to the cake cutting and the first dance. Our videographer set up cameras from multi-angel to ensure a complete coverage.
Thank you Angela and Haydn for inviting us to document your big day!
