Lisa and Andy decide to create their Melbourne wedding as unique as they are. Lisa originally comes from Germany while Andy is from New Zealand. They want the celebration has their dogs, heaps of fun, feeling relaxed and all the family and friends enjoy the vibe they created. They prefer to craft a wedding to reflect who they truly are rather than follow the traditions. In terms of wedding photography, we always love to see something new and something fresh.
Lisa and Andy’s wedding get started from the preparation. They both hired a house on Airbnb for the getting ready part in the morning respectively. From a wedding photographer’s perspective, it is a smart choice. It saves our time to tidy up the photography background. Plus Lisa and Andy booked the house really close to the wedding photo locations and the wedding venue, so we probably only spend 5 – 10 minutes travel between the locations on the wedding day. Super handy.
Lisa and Andy chose to follow their hearts rather than the traditions, so they organise their wedding portrait before the wedding ceremony. Our wedding photographer suggest went to the St Kilda Botanical Garden and Luna Park Melbourne for wedding photography. The Rose Garden and the Conservatory inside the St Kilda Botanical Garden provide a perfect environment for natural and candid photos. For the photography style at the Luna Park Melbourne, it provides a perfect differentiation. The entrance provide a perfect backdrop for the wedding photographer to take some dramatic and fun wedding photos.
The wedding ceremony and the reception were held at Sandbar Beach Cafe, Middle Park. Our wedding photographer spend the rest of the day here together with Lisa and Andy. We love to see the emotional, happy and exciting moments through our camera. It is exactly the vibe they planned to deliver for their wedding celebration.
