Jessica & Brett @Linley Estate

Every time we capture weddings at Linley Estate at the foothill of Dandenong Ranges, the weather are arguably well for wedding photography. Jesscia and Brett’s wedding is the most dramatic one among them. They choose to get married in the winter season, and in Melbourne, winter is normally the cloudy and rainy season. I still remember Jessica called the day before her wedding and discussed the Plan B for wedding photography, as the forecast told it got 90% chance to rain on her wedding day. But it turns out, you can't always trust the forecast. The sun got nothing blocked from early morning to late afternoon.

The wedding day started with the Jessica and Brett’s preparation at Linley Estate. Thumbs up for Linley Estate team, our wedding photographer didn’t move anything to have a tidy and clean background for the getting ready photography. As all the later formalities were organised at Linley Estate, so our wedding photographer could create an authentic relaxed atmosphere to take some genuine natural and candid photos, without any traffic issue or tight schedule pushing. The wedding ceremony was held in the sandstone chapel. The full height glass atrium gave adequate natural lighting for the wedding photography work during the whole tie the knot process.

After the wedding ceremony, our wedding photographer organised the group photo and family photo in front of the sandstone chapel. Then we organise the bridal party photos with under the majestic trees and English gardens. And our wedding photographer left the golden and creamy moments for Jessica and Brett to capture some intimacy wedding photos and she also lead the couple from garden to the building area to create a variability for her wedding photography work.

The wedding reception was held in the stunning Chandelier Lit Ballroom. Our wedding photographer covered the traditional formalities like the reception intro, cake cutting, speeches, first dancing and the fare well. We have also witnessed Brett’s first love song for Jessica and our wedding photographer sneak out with the couple for some creative night photography.
